Winter Project Lists

I'm replacing floor mats. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Nothing major at this point, but I do have a few things on the list.

When out last Saturday after releasing my parking brake the
red dash brake light stayed on. I looked things over on Sunday and found the right rear hanging up a bit. It appears the PO had it adjusted a bit too tight. Loosened it a bit and all seems fine, but the light is still on. I'm thinking it's a bad switch, so I'll be trying that next.

Clutch is a little stiff and pedal is a bit low, so I have a clutch master and slave cylinder kit on order.

Not sure about this one. My front end seems OK but the boots on the upper ball ends have some slight cracking. They're holding grease and they don't seem to be a problem. But I don't believe I have seen just the boots for sale... any suggestions... Should I just replace ball ends too?

Also think I'm going to be replacing the front sway bar links as well.

Last, I have been driving without a hood latch for the last few weeks, but have the new assembly and cables along with an emergency hood release. I have been taking advantage of the last few weekends of driving weather (put 240 miles on last weekend), but this will be the first thing I do once I pull her in for the winter. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

I bought my lines for TRF all pre-bet and ready to go. It's about $6.00 more to each line to have it bent, but well worth it. Dave does an excellent job on these.

Most of the brake parts are coming from TRF, but for the brake lines I went with the stainless set from ClassicTube and a set of Goodridge braided flex lines. They should be here sometime next week and hopefully are worth the wait.

I have all braided flex lines and I believe that I may have ordered the stainless steel lines as well.

Too many parts ordered on too many different occasions...

That's why you never look in the receipt drawer for more than five seconds.

Here's the list so far!

1. Finish the interior of the garage.

2. Rebuild Greenie's carbs and replace his interior (and possibly his top).

3. Pull the gas tanks on the Tiger, fix the fuel gauge sender unit, and replace the piping between the two tanks (because they're starting to rot).

4. Finish putting the new carpet kit in the Tiger.

5. Pull the Tiger's dashboard, figure out why the dash lights don't work, and install the tonneau studs on top of the dash.

6. Replace the MG's rear springs and give her exterior some TLC.

My list is short

I had this happen a couple weeks ago when leaving for a drive. The light stayed on after releasing the parking brake but after a few uses of the brakes it was and still is fine.
I wondered if it might have caused the differential valve to trip and using the brakes may have re-centered it.
