I can't get the transmission disengauged from the cable. I've been told that just pulls out, mine doesn't. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
 
Just take the wiper arms off and pull the whole cable out.
 
No no, you must take the top off of the wiper and lift the cable off of the peg it is on. The nut only holds the case for the cable.
 
When I take the top of the tranny part, it doesn't lift out. I have pried lifhtly, and it just doesn't come out. Thanks for any help
 
What is the top cover shaped like?
 
Should have two bolt headed screws holding the plat on and a round raised plate in the middle with a wire sodered in the middle. If so, use a bit more meat.
 
It has four bolt headed screws, and it is has the circluar thing with the soldered spring plate in the middle. Just wanted confirmation before I forced it any more. Thanks.
 
Go for it, turning the circluar thingee, adjusts where the wipers park.
