TR2/3/3A Windshield Wiper Motor Grease

I'm am in the process of rebuilding/restoring the windshield wiper motor assemblies for three of my TR3As that are also undergoing restoration and I would like to know what kind of grease is recommended for the gears in these assemblies. The old grease was caked on and hard in some spots. I suspect there have been many advances in petroleum products over the past 50 to 60 years and I would like to know which is the best grease to use. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or recommendations.

I used white lithium grease in mine. But wiper motor very rarely used over last year or so since rebuild. Cheers, Mike

Ditto on the white lithium grease. Cheers, Steve

Same here with the white lithium as well. Seemed to work well and lasted 5 years as a daily driver after that.
