I need two wheel box cover plates and screws. First of all, what are they actually called? Does anyone know where I can get these from? I have included a pic - sorry for the poor quality. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Best I can tell, Lucas calls them (wait for it)...covers! Probably the only way to get them is to scavenge off a parts car.

EDIT: Oh wait; I think I've misunderstood what you're looking for? It's actually a panel on the body, up under the dash area on a plenum? My TR4 SPC calls them "Plate, cover, windscreen wiper cable access" -- p/n 650159. Screws are YA0403, which are self-tapping pan head #8 screws, 3/8" long. From TRF's online catalogue, it appears that the parts are same for TR6; unfortunately, they're listed as NLS. So back to my original advice: parts car scavenging!

Thanks. You did understand what I was looking for. I didn't even think to check Ebay - I'll go there and see if I can find some used ones.

Kevin, the very first part of my reply was regarding the screw-on cover on the back of the wheelboxes themselves -- the part that helps hold the cable and tubes and all together -- that's I thought you meant when I first saw the photo. Then I remembered that the TR4-6 had sheet metal covers on that area. (They're well behind the dashboard but otherwise exposed on a Herald!)

BRLSlimited, You must have posted while I was replying to Andrew. I sent you a PM.
Thanks again for the info Andrew. I already tried the screws you said I need and they worked great. Now if I can just get those plates. It will be finally great to have a heater that works. I now know why I had such a big flow of (unwanted) air coming from under the dash.
