Windshield washer bottle strap dried up.

Does anybody know where to get just the strap for the windshield washer bottle for TR6? Or something that looks about the same. It kind of looks like a 1' wide rubberband.
 
No No this is for the TR6, it's been done for years. It just needs replaced now. Once again the great rubber we get today only lasts for a short time.
 
I purloined a piece of elastic from the wife's sewing room! :blush:

If you have a "Joanne's Fabric nearby, I am sure they would have someting very close.

A little trick, you don't want that band to look too new. Dip in tea for a nice patina!
 
Do you know someone who does leatherwork?
Mine broke some time ago,so now I'm using a really
big rubber band.
Do those widow washers actually work?Mine
never has.
