Windshield top moulding question?

Greetings;I'm having to do a shout out for some info i need in my quest to restore the windshield moulding on my 1980 Spit.Two questions;
1.I need the size for the 8 rivets that are required
2.The size for the 2 rubber(plastic)grommets(plugs)
I think i can get these at Lowes or Home Depot & save the cost of ordering from Victoria British(at there exorbatant S&H prices).....I'm refinishing the moulding with faux chrome paint.I'd prefer powder coating but money's an issue.
Any guide line information would be great.Thanks guy's &/or gals.
Ken
