Windshield to body seal

OK, I'm looking for some clarification here. The Moss catalog windshield installation instructions seem to indicate that the windshield to body seal can be replaced with the side pillars still on. I say the only way to do this is to unbolt one of the pillars and pull it off. If that is true, does this cause any problems down the road? Will the windshield to frame seal be impacted? Are there any other possible problems?

It can be done with the side posts on, but I prefer having them off. The windshield glazing will survive assuming it's in good condition and has not been glued in place.

If you're going that far, go all the way...you can get it on with some work, lemme say it that way.
