Windshield Support Rod

Quick Question. Does the windshield support rod bracket that attaches in the center of the dash have a captive nut under there? I want to remove on the the nuts to secure the bracket for my digital speedo/Cyclometer I'm adapting for Bugsy but don't want to try and get my hand back up under the desh to hold on to a nut to reattach if it isn't a captive not. What's up there under the dash top that the bracket bolts to?

Well MOSS Catalog makes in look like there is a captive nut under there. Time to find out. Thanks anyway.

I would like to get my money down for captured nuts.

Not sure if it's like my 74 but mine has captured nuts. My windshield is off at the moment and I just checked.

There must be captured nots of some type or at least a bracket that when one bolt is removed stays in place. I was able to successfully remove and reinstall one of the bolts yesterday. Using it so secure the cyclometer for my digital speedo project. Readout will be right at top of dash level. I'll provide pics when I'm done. Prototype engineering and testing is done and it works. A little more bracket modification and feed the wires through from the rear end and I'll be done.
