Windshield rubber

OK, final question--so it looks like the rubber is technically fitted properly? That is, the front edge is not supposed to "flip" under the whole windshield, correct?

I think everyone seems to agree, but let me know if you think otherwise.

i don't believe it flips under. it simply overlaps the bezel. i don't know that i have ever seen this seal not making some contact with the bezels. i would think if you try to put the bezel over the seal, the bezel would not sit flush with the cowl and look just as bad.

Yeah, when they were new on the showroom floor, the seal would be touching or slightly over the wiper bezel on most of 'em. You ~could~ cut a radius relief cut in the seal... but then you risk the problem Fred describes. Fuss with the screen mounting/position a bit but it likely won't do much good.

I think Chris' has shrunk a bit from age, BTW. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif
