Can anyone tell me the best way to install the rubber seal that fits on the bottom of the windshield frame. It's on a Austin Healey 3000.
thanks

Some seals are better than others in the fit. Who did you get the seal from?
Use some dish soap to help lubricate the rubber while inserting in the track.
Good luck,
Roger

Alot of patience was needed on mine and a hot air gun, i heated the rubber and stretched it a bit while feeding it in, took a few attempts and one split rubber.

Thanks for all the suggestions. It's almost in except for the ends. Another question, I know when I took the other seal off the rubber extended into the door jam for a few inches on each side.. Is that correct? I guess I should have taken a few pictures before I took it all the way off. Let me know. thanks tom

Yes Tom, the rubber extends into the door jam and up under the dash.

Finally got the seal in! A little soap, hot air gun and a lot of stretching. Not an easy job, but happy it's over. Thanks
for all the help!

Before you install anything or cut anything, leave it in the sun and let it shrink a bit. You might find it contracts inward after being stretched.
