I've bought these things from Moss and Vic Brit and haven't had one last over a year without cracking and splitting apart where it rests on the fender. Their cheap, I guess recycled rubber. Anyone know where ones made out of a good quality material can be found? Except when at a show, my cars are covered and continuously out of the sun and weather, their not daily drivers.

I've not tried MacGregor, but mebbe a call to him?

I really hate the job of pullin' that thing apart. The last body to frame gasket I got was from now defunct "Specialty Car Parts". It sat in a box for a decade before I used it, still fine.

I sure miss them fellas.

You know Doc, I'm going to give him a call. I never gave him a thought. He deals in top quality stuff. He's also a very nice fella to talk to. First time I met him was at Gburg 2006. Bought some door seal material and a couple other things. I think Moss sells his door seals. Closest to the originals I could find. Top shelf! Thanks!

SICP as in Special Interest Car Parts? I miss them too :cryin:

Yup. Special Interest... We bought all we could when they announced they were quitting.

As I needed them now, I ordered a set from Moss. They are made slightly heaver than the ones I had on the car and the material feels different. Looks a little like neoprene. We'll see if they last longer than the ones that came off which came from Vic Brit.
