Thought I would share some of the photos of the windshield install going on at Fourintune. I am very pleased with the fit on the stantions as well as the rubber seal.

I have heard a couple of restoration pro's say that if the rubber molding is worked into place inch by inch, rather than simply slid into the track, it will lie flat against the scuttle. I have tried to do that with no luck. Perhaps you can get Tom Kovacs to share his secret or source with us?

I can't envision that a flat piece of rubber, as is supplied by the usual suspects, could conform to the curve of the sheet metal without creating a bulge/buckle unless it is in fact molded with a radius at either end.

BTW I have seen BMC sales literature showing the usual bulges--perhaps they are required for Concours?

One trick I've used came from Norman Nock many years ago. If you put the seal in place, slide one end out a bit and glue it in place and then gently stretch the seal , it will conform to the shroud nicely. Worked for me.

I sent an info request to Tom.

Very nice. I can attest that getting the aluminum surround that well-fitted is not easy.

I'm curious about the square panels on the floorboards on either side of the driveshaft tunnel. The Moss kit I got for our BN2 had slots cut and trimmed for the seat runners; do you know how they plan to install those?

BTW, I wrote Fourintune about the correct fitting windshield lower seal, and all I got from them were a couple of emails with only a signature line. I think Kaye gave up after that.
