Windshield for a 2500M

I want to replace the chrome finishing strip that goes around the windshield on my 1977 2500M. The windshield is good, the rubber seal is good, but the finishing strip is discolored. Will a finishing strip from a TR6 work?
Any suggestions & sources will be appreciated.
