Is it possible to replace the windshield rubber without removing the windshield from the car and disassembling the whole frame?

Morris - There's only 4 screws to take out in order to remove the windscreen. It then lifts right off. Removing the 3 pillar screws on each side, now that can be another story.
 
True- but on a later model (after '64) getting those 4 bolts back in is NOT fun!

Yeah, I've no experience with later models. Thought he was talking about a B/E. Those are a snap.
 
Not hard on the later windshield as long as you use a Posidrive Bit.
 
I think he is referring to how hard it is to get to the mounting bolts while compressing the "body to windscreen" seal. (Esp with the padded dash cars).
