Hello,
Does anyone know of someone who repairs windsheild washer motors? I would really like to keep the original motor from my 69 TR6. When I turned it on for the first time, it did not turn well and started to get hot and smoke.
Thanks, Kevin

Kevin,
If you are referring to the little electric motor that runs the windshield washer pump, I really don't think that you will find that anyone will rewind these things, just replace them. The whole assembly is available new and is not that pricey, but this won't help you if you are hellbent on keep the original. We used to rewind small electric motors way back in the '60s when slot cars were all the rage, so I know it is doable, but I don't know if you will find someone today to do it. I have yet to use my brand-new windshield washer, or for that matter, my windshield wipers. I rely on Rain-X.
