We were talking windscreens awhile back, I finally took some pix of the one I made. Its part of a kit I was making that I call my MGB speedster. If I ever finish it it will be sharp,...ahem. I hope I can get the photo posted,I am really awful at computers

DITTO!!

Looks mighty fine to me!

Glass obviously, but how did you cut it and what did you start with?

Trust me, I wouldn't even THINK of trying to do one of them on my own! LOL

I see you are in MI also. Feel free to use my 73' as a Guinea Pig. I have my windshield off at the moment, it would be perfect.
I'll put it on and test if for a yr or 10. Then I'll get back with you with a full page report.
Its the least I could do.
Deal?

Is the *Glass* plastic or glass? PJ

Now, THAT is nice.....great job!

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/iagree.gif that's on spiffy windscreen

Well, I'm very pleased people, thanks much, glad you like it. Yes it is glass, its my forth one,two died, ugly death. Yes I have thought of a limited production,it takes a LONG time to do one.I am looking into it though. jlaird when huh? Right now I probably have 8/9..unfinished resto's goin, kinda. The MGB speedster is something I started on..ummm 8/9 yrs ago.I also made a cool little set of wind wings for the windscreen, cuz I have a set of pull handle doors/sans vent windows, plus some great all steel flared fenders, rolled beaded edge, beautiful work, that I got from a SCCA MGB from the 60s/70s. Oh man just to much to say about what I have collected for this daydream. Been doin this stuff on/off for 40 yrs. I aint no spring chickie. One last thing,I have a 58 Lyman (wood lapstrake boat),OOh man....I love my boat, it really pulls me outta the shop! I feel like Marcello Mastriani, surronded by beautiful ladies.....kinda.

Understan, Lymans are beautiful workmanship and very nice lines like a boat should.
