Windscreen

I would like to build a windscreen for my midget this winter. I have a 1970 with no roll bar, and no hardtop fixings, and no tonneau bars. Does anybody have a design that they could forward my way. Perspex (plexiglass) is preferred but I could go screen too. Moss is way to expensive. And can/does the design lend itself to a vertical hinge so it could be removed and stored in the trunk or It would need to fit when the roof is up too.

Thanks

Better price than Moss Jack, Thanks, but still gotta convert to CDN = approx 180 Plus shipping. and besides I could have fun building my own. My son just bought a Mig welder...

I saw one at MG2006 that was mounted on pivots so that it could be folded up over the seats while the top was put up, then flipped back down into place after the top was up. I should have taken a picture.

I bought one of the ones that Jack listed. It is a little too wide, and doesn't help as much as I had hoped. My wife still thinks there is too much wind on the back of her hair.

Oh oh, and I was going to have one for the wife. However, that said I bet it does by all accounts help.

Think if I was going to build one I would use Alum and Lexon.

I made mine for my 76. I did not have a plan, but can take some pictures later and maybe provide a simple sketch. A bracket mounts to the bolts holding the top frame on. Support arms attach to that bracket with single large winged bolts for easy removal. The screen itself is 1/4" perspex. The screen can slide up and down the brackets for positioning. Slide it down, and I can raise and lower the top. Slide it up for a bit more effectivness. Trevor, if the one you saw at MG2006 was in a Black Tulip midget it was likely mine.

No, but I did see yours. Looked nice. This was on a white chrome bumper car. I saw it in a parking lot, but he wasn't at the show.
