windscreen washer pump

Not a big issue, and I'm in no hurry, but a recent ebay auction brought this question to mind. What is the correct pump for a bugeye windscreen washer. Mine has three ports on the back and a deep mounting boss. Is it the same as an MGA or different? Anyone have some insight on this?

Yep deap boss and either two or three ports is ok. Two is orginal I think but not really really sure. Seem to remember a spliter on the hose to the washers on my orginal.

The ebay auction said that there was a version of the pump that pumped fluid on the in stroke and the out stroke, and one that only worked on the in stroke. Is that true? Is it the same as an MGA pump?
 
Well... Moss lists a pump for the MGA as available, but not for the bugeye. I guess they are different?
 
Think mine came from VB.
