Windoze 8

He can't start a new paragraph. Something strings all the type in a continuous line.

Thanks. Turn off "Default Text Styling" in the browser.

I don't see where that default styling setting is in IE10 (and I looked in Tools|Setttings|Advanced. Tried changing a few things but still no way to activate the "return" key. Maybe it IS the keyboard... but, again, I don't have this problem anywhere else. How odd.

Good news... with the new system I can insert a photo AND re-size it (which I couldn't do before). So maybe it's a fair trade to lose the ability to hit the return key to create a new paragraph.:excitement:

Mark - do you have the "enter key doesn't work" problem only on BCF?

Yes, basically that's it. I can't even hit return/enter to start a new paragraph. Seems others are having this too. Odd. Seems to be only on the BCF (though I should check elsewhere). It certainly works for most applications. Thanks Tom.

Mark - try this. While you're logged in, choose Settings in the upper right of the page.

Choose General Settings in the lower left column.

Scroll way down to Miscellaneous Options.

Choose Basic Editor.

Click Save Changes.

Log out of BCF. Log back in.

See if your Enter key works now.

OK, testing the basic editor.
And...
... ta da...
it works. But I really LIKE the WYSIWYG editor. :-( This is pretty basic.

OK, now trying the "Enhanced Editor"...
... and it works too! Must be just the WYSIWYG. Actually, this enhanced one (beyond basic) really looks about the same. The downside is that attached files look pretty boring and can't be edited.
Thanks Tom.

Life ... is an endless string of compromises!

Glad it works.
