32 bit version on these five year old Dell desktops.
 
I don't have anything really helpful to add, but I do have a couple type writers if you decide to go that route. Only one is a Remington though the other one is a Royal.
 
Update 10pm EST.

Downloaded a different Win7 build from MS. Burned to DVD.

Installed perfectly (and now adding 150+ updates ...).

Glad to see some progress ... but sure wish this had happened the *first* time!
