WINDOW WINDER MECHANISM - 76 MIDGET

My driver's door mechanism works nice and easy, but the pass side is very hard. I greased up(heavy)everything I could on the pass side, but it is still tough - especially the last 1/4 of travel. I am afraid I will break the handle some day. Nothing seems bent or damaged or even rusted. Any "quick fix" suggestions, or do I need to pull out the entire mechanism out of the door and see what the problem is? How bad of a job is this? Do I need midget hands? Thanks ......AL

Al, repost the question on the Spridget board. But, it might be the runners that the window slides in that are binding or out of alignment

One thing that you may want to do is pull off the interior panel and squirt some oil (3 in 1 or similar) on that horizontal slider about an inch below the bottom of the glass. Has been known to work wonders.
