Window guide lubricant, or not?

Happy Memorial day and thanks to you vets out there.

Do we install lubricant into the window post track for the BJ8 window? This is the front chrome track. Make sense to do it for the lower half since it will never see the light of day, but I was wondering about the top half. The window is a little tight right now. New nylon glides and window.

thanks

Hi Jerry, best to use on the bottom glide only then if a passenger put an arm out the the window they won't mess up their clothing. I Use Coppa-slip--Keoke

On German cars (Audi&VW),we use a Wurth window rubber guide lube, especially on Audi's,they have pressure sensitive motors that will drop down w/slightest resistance. This stuff doesn't stain nor leave any residue. I'll look for # tomorrow. cheers Genos2
