My guess is he was lonely and jumped too fast. He and Linda had a great thing going and it was really sad what happened.
 
Unless what she says is true. Then Paul will have 1.5 billion and be a complete jerk. That kind of money can buy just about anything you want. Even some woman that will put up with abuse. I think it's to early to side with a possible wife beater. I'm waiting for the true story to come out before I throw my hat to him.

I cannot believe that after all the years Paul & Linda were married, and all the years he was with Jane Asher, IF he were an abuser, something would have come out long before now. Good grief, the man has been in the public eye for 40+ years.

I have no use for abusers, and am not supporting or condoning it. But I will never believe that Paul is a wife beater.

I think Basil is right on. He jumped into this relationship way too fast (well, SHE couldn't!) and now some blonde bimbo gold digger is smearing you know what around - to get more money, to defame his name...who knows?

I cannot, however, believe his attorneys and accountants didn't consul him and suggest strongly he have a pre-nup.
