will this water pump fit?

I have ordered from Moss a water pump for an 18V engine for the 71-74. A double check of my engine number shows that it was built in '76. Is the difference only because of later smog concerns with no difference in water pumps. Or should I return it and order another one?

The pump will fit the block, but I think the pulleys changed, hence the difference

The pump arrived. The answer is no. The shaft extending out the front of the pump is a different length.
