Just had a discussion with wife.

She said, Miss Agatha is getting close to complete, I said yep a few more months and she will be done to my satisfaction I should think.

She said I think you could get another in the garage. When I finaly got my jaw back in place, I said I thought I just might build Miss Agatha a 1275 engine to replace this 948 along with a 5 speed transmission. She said that's nice sounds like a project. And I said front disc brakes would be nice as well. She said but that would not be orginal and I said but it would be period. She said if son buys a home with a double garage you could put one there up the street and have two, Miss Agatha and a street racer.

Did she trap me or did I trap her?

What's with the ladies? What did I fall into? After 47 years with this one I never know what is going to happen.

In any case something to start thinking about. Think I best go work on the yard before I get in real trouble.

Sounds like it is time to work a garage lift into the budget.

You're the luckiest guy I know.

Could there be a Mr. Agatha in your future????

Ah, be careful - from my short time being married, I can forsee a request being made on her part as well /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Jack, Pass this on to the Mrs. without reading it

Wanna dump the old man and marry me?

Just kidding, Jack. I caught myself one like that too. They are rare, but some of us get lucky that way.

Re: Jack, Pass this on to the Mrs. without reading it

Jack - keep Miss Agatha original...build a little street rod one!! Kay may just want to drive Miss Agatha herself!!

Re: Jack, Pass this on to the Mrs. without reading it

Jack,

She's much happier since you've had a cause and been out in the garage. It's like you going off to work. She can have some peace and quiet and space. Beside you've found something interesting to do to keep active and keep your mind challenged solving LBC problems. She's trying to keep you alive and well and around for some time to come. That's planning on her part.

Re: Jack, Pass this on to the Mrs. without reading it

Well Miss Agatha is not quite orginal but only me and you guys would ever know.

Wrong water temp and oil press gauge.

Spin on oil filter.

Air cleaners.

Battery, and neg ground.

Stainless steel bolts and nuts.

1050 exhaust manifold.

Heater knob does not have an H on it.

That's all I can think of. And yes I need the right heater knob.

Jack: ANY EXCUSE FOR ANOTHER CAR!!!

Re: Jack, Pass this on to the Mrs. without reading it

I dunno Jack, Miss A has been treating you very well. Bring another one home and she might get jealous and start giving you problems!

Jack, your wife needs to have a good talk with my wife... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

I'd vote for a second car -- would be fun to build a later Spridget to sporty specs.
