Wierd. Can't find Basil's Forum comments

Wanted to read what Basil had to say re Forum future.

Couln't seem to find this, for whatever reason. Can
anybody direct me. It's usualy the very first things I
see. Weird.

Okay. May well be that the "subject" is being withdrawn for review
or something. I don't know, but as with many others, I would be concerned
at the closing of this Forum.

I'm not surprised at his decision. I can't imagine how much work and effort he's put into this forum, overwhelming for most mortals. He deserves a medal, or better IMHO.

All good things must come to an end, but I hope this one does not.

I am having all sorts of issues. No side panels, no active topics, missing forums etc. I tried reseting my views and that didn't help. Any ideas?

It certainly would be nice to get clued in on exactly what is going on here. This event is certainly nothing like the last "crisis" we went through about a year ago when the threat of a shut-down loomed. Not to be pushy, but since some of us DID try to step up last time the threat of a shut-down loomed by purchasing subscriptions to the site, at least those "paid-up" members should be clued in to what is going on, why all the drastic changes to the BCF have occurred and why it happened so suddenly with no prior warning or explanation at least to those who have a subscription!!

Whatever Basil decides is okay. I would truly miss this site. That is why I paid a membership when he asked the first time, but with today's economy a lot of priorities have changed. If he makes the painful decision to shut down, I will truly miss this group. But all things do change, and I will have to learn to cope. So just in case this suddenly is gone, thanks Basil for helping me meet all these wonderful people. My BCF calendar is still right over my desk, and it will be a memory of wonderful times with you guys.
