Width of Back Seat?

What's the width of a classic mini's back seat? I assume that it did not change much over the years.

Did I scare everybody off with my question? I do have an idea, but it is not what you may think.

One response from another board suggests that the rear seat width is right at 3 meters.

Any other thoughts?

My thoughts as well. I think that he meant one meter (or 3 feet).

Oops, my bad. He did say one meter. Don't know where the three came into play??!

Well, if they came into the rear seat of a Mini, they'll be pretty crowded!

I think that in some warped way, I was Americanizing meters into feet.

The seat cushion is 42". If you include the rear seat pockets at seat height, it's 52" from "wall to wall". At shoulder height, it's 44"

That's not so different from my CJ.

Thanks.
