There was also the Top Gear sequel, where they park the Hi Lux on the roof of a block of flats - and then demolish the flats. Quite remarkable - although each time their mechanic does seem to spend a bit of time on it before it does actually start.

My favorite Top Gear was the one with the Triumph Herald amphibious sail boat though. I would provide links to YouTube, but these seem to have been removed for reasons of copyright. Not suprising really.

That was a LAME attempt with the wrecking ball, Give ME the controls of that crane and ball! I think I could render that toyota useless. Although I DO admit they are pretty tough.

Agree. But you could still probably use the tranny in your TR (if it was a 2WD model w/o the 4WD transfer case)

As kids, my brother and I used to love seeing the Burma-Shave signs spaced along the road as we sat in the back of my parents Dodge wagon. Yep, on the way to grandma's house (where my wife and I now live!)
