Why Why Why oh Why

I agree that the uncommon are intriguing. I have a Renault Dauphine and a DKW/ Auto Union 1000 waiting for restoration. We named the Dauphine Marie Antoinette because the engine does not have a head. Often when people are talking about the big money cars, my question is "What's that in Morris Minors?"

at least a decade ago a company here triednto convert Dauphines to electric (as some originally were) about two years ago I foundnwhat I believe to be the secret stash of their cars as there were 14 in a field. Broke my heart to see them there.
