That when you look up a company's/organization's website, NOWHERE on their home page is a physical address, or even a city or state where they are located? Or if it's there, it's the tiniest of print buried ~somewhere~ amidst all the pictures and fluff.

Guess it's true - an anachronism I am!
 
And the "Contact Us" link goes to an e-mail, no 'phone number or physical addy. grrr.....

Maybe because the "business" is run out of a person's house and they don't want unexpeted visitors. I know there's an online autopaint "company" in NJ that runs out of a guy's house like that. He's basically just a middleman. When he gets an order, he contacts the real paint supplier and has them send the paint out. Actually, not much different than Amazon in that respect.
 
Of course there are also companies that have multiple addresses, sometimes in multiple states, depending on where the law works best for that part of the business and they don't really want people showing up at the warehouse or where the worker bees are. My own employer has a business address, corporate address, and several others for different portions of the business, all in different states.
 
Actually i find churches often the worst - no worship time either. One big issue (especially for churches) is amateur webmasters - i know of at least one church with two website because the original webmaster died and no-one to this day knows the login info - so they had to start a new one. This plus websites set up by IT professionals and not marketing professionals. Sheesh. Climbs back under rock.
