Why I restore Old cars

When the teacher asked the pony why he didn't come to school for a couple of days.............

I just did a factory tour at the BMW "Zentrum" in SC. Watched how the interior was assembled, and noticed how few tools are used. Evertyhing snaps together.

...And snaps to bits the moment you try to remove it to fix anything! Then you have to spend 500+ on a new plastic panel that takes two men to lift, and throw away the old one because all the fasteners are broken. Yeah, that's really green, isn't it? I can remove the complete dash on my 1966 Austin with a Phillips screwdriver and a 7/16 socket, and put it back when I've done, all on my tod.

I had a BMW, for four weeks... won't make that mistake again.
