MGB Why 'B' driving? A question for MGB owners...

Doc, you were the guy I was prob chaseing.

Slander 'n liable!! Rumor 'n propaganda!!!!

heheheeee!!!

However... I ~DID~ put a GTO into a bunch of headstones in eastern PA once: The guy was powering up the GTO and appeared to be trying to jump it *onto* the boot of the Elan... I trolled him up to about sixty just before a set of 90° left-right turns I knew I could float thru at around 40MPH... I braked just ahead of the first left, having given myself enuff room... his "goat" sent sparks off of the right rear as it scrubbed a stone wall on the first kink... I watched in the mirrors as he COMPLETELY lost it before the second kink (right-hander) and went careening off into a graveyard, sparks a'flyin' and a LOT of "metal crunching" noises as he went. Not my fault. HE was the "agressor." Hope he learned a lesson about arrogance, intimidation and LBC's... but I doubt it. He was a local and should have KNOWN better. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

You guys don't want to know all the old American iron I thrashed about as a teenager....rolled a '55 Chevy convertible, put a '50 Pontiac into a set of church steps...ran a '64 Bonneville into Lake Ponchartrain...among many others that didn't fare well at my hands!

Hay in the mid fiftys american iron was about all there was except for the occusional MG or TR.

Half of us shouldn't be here,by the things we did in
our "teens".
I used to wax cars in High School- got to drive a lot
of 240Z's,BMW's,a Maserati Mistral,& even a ferrari Daytona!
I would have probably have lost my license,if the cops had caught me doing the things that I did.
