It shoulden't be this hard to locate a pair of reasonably priced TR2-3 front fenders. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wall.gif
I'm not even looking for perfect ones. But it seems that I'm going to have to crack, and buy a pair of fiberglass ones from ebay.
New ones are available, but they're going for at least 4X what I'm willing to pay, and all sources say they don't fit worth a darn anyway.
One last plea.
Anyone here with a pair, or even just one front fender for a TR2-3-3A-3B. Mild rust ok (I have a welder) as long as it dosen't have crash damage.
PLEEEEEEASE let me know. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thankyousign.gif

Thanks Paul. Lead being followed.
Anybody else?!?! The more leads the better!
There's gotta be some out there somewhere.

Geez, Benny!! The last TR-bloody-3 I rode in was back in the late '60's!!! If I ~had~ a source, you'd be th' first to know. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Cool. Emails sent... Phone #s taken down.
I've gotta wind up with something from all this.

Hi There Banjo;

Hey; Send some pics of that TR2 via email (toysrus@ptd.net):

Anyways; Why don`t you try my friend here in NE PA: He has a "Ton of Spares"; but not certain if he`ll part with any? You can feel comfortable to Ref My Name if you wish:

His Name is "Mike" and email is: mikjagtr@yahoo.com

Tell Him "Russ" sent you but I`m certain You`ll have to "Pick-Up" whatever you may agree on:

Have Fun;

Regards, Russ

Sorry Ben, that lead I had turned out to be rears.
Good luck hunting.

I got a TR3 switch off ebay. It came with an article from another place in Pa that does restorations and seems to have a lot of stuff for stock piled.

https://www.britishmiles.com

The article was well written, and the part I got was reasonably priced and in perfect condition.
Jerry

Thanks anyway Baz!
Russ. Sen't him an email.
Jerry. Sent one to those guys too.

Ben,

There was a guy who showed up at the New England Triumph show in Brookline, MA last year with a lot of OLD used parts and they were metal. I nearly forgot about him until I was looking at something on my website and remembered that I took pictures of his wares that were for sale.

Check these pictures out: https://www.74tr6.com/netphoto.htm and you'll see what you need.

If you contact Art Ditto, I'll bet he can put you in touch with him: https://www.newenglandtriumphs.org/

Thanks Paul. Email sent!

Greg, Hot tip. thanks. Ron in Texas has some and is getting me pics very soon.
I'll keep ya all updated.
Like I said. with all these leads, something was bound to come of it.
thanks to all.
we'll see what develops.
I'm still open to any ideas, as this isen't a done deal yet.

You might end up with some of my old fenders, wish I had them still. He helped me unload 2 front spares, 1 rear, 2 tr6 trans, 1 axle, 18 million wheels, several heads, SUs, old hydraulics...I was moving and had no storage for about 6 months, now I wish I had rented a storage unit.

Ron is a good guy.

Good luck.

Good to see that it has brand new surface rust. Old surface rust would be bad.
