Who's doing WHAT, Where Saturday??

Daughters all star practice, New tunes for the Wedge, shopping, drinking wine with the wife person who I have not seen all week.

Tom,
Glad to hear you had a good crowd to converse with today at OSV.
AOW had no visitors in the AM when I was there. The tuner car club show in the parking lot did not bring anyone inside, even with the discount on all admissions. Saturday mornings are dead when the weather is good. At least I got to go around and detail the machinery in peace while Maryland PBS was making a video of the collection...

Enjoying drinks with a great many BCFers....

Hauled two half yard loads of topsoil (all my little trailer will hold)behind the ol' Jeeper, sans top, so at least I got some convertable action. and shoveled it into my parents garden box, then I swapped motors on my old lawnmower to get it running, then mowed, weedwacked, found a painted turtle. wife, Dot and I took the turtle to a nearby pond to let it go. now I'm gonna go for a bicycle ride in the cool of the evening. Like I haven sweated enough today. Upper 80s and flat out sticky. whew!

Banjo, that poor turtle probably left the pond a week ago looking for a mate :wall:

Took the kids to a birthday party. Mom and Dad went to see Wanted. Nothing says summer like bullets and explosions!! LoL Great action and a good thrill ride! And some new actress, Angelina something-or-other was in it.... lol.

Visited the parents, and painted the four wheeler that I got for free the other day.

11:47 central time and I just finished painting the bedroom. Kitchen is painted all that is left is installing the trim, hallways are all painted, both bathrooms have new paint. The tile is laid in the bathrooms, washer and dryer installed (by the way, "FUN WASH" is a misnomer) all that's left is waiting on the plumbers to install new sinks and countertops in the laundry room, master bath and sinks. A little trim work and final paint touch up and we will be back to "normal" in our house (and back to the garage)
Its amazing that a tree and wind can put your life into such disarray!
We are hoping for a full recovery by July 4....3 months since the storm dropped our favorite tree on our house!
We watched "The Money Pit" tonight while we worked.....that movie makes a lot more sense now! LOL

Working, Working & more Working!

Well, at least one of my hobbies has a functional
internal combustion engine. Nice day on the water
yesterday. Here's my buddy Tito with a Tarpon pup.

Today it is my dubious pleasure to muck out the
Koi pond. BLARGH!!!

Re: Who's doing WHAT, Where Sunday??

Here's the 4-wheeler I've been working on this weekend. My sister gave it to me to get rid of it. It was all faded and pinkish colored. I painted it yesterday. It's Yamaha's first 4-wheeled atv. 1985-86 model YFM200 with reverse and shaft drive. Just finished getting it running. Cleaned the carb, adjusted the valve lash, and changed the plug. It had been sitting, non-running condition in her back yard for a long time. I'm out 30 bucks for paint, plug, and some run-flat slime for the old tires, carb cleaner, and it runs and looks pretty decent. Still needs new tires and a battery though.

I'm totally jealous, Kenny! I've always wanted an ATV of some sort, ever since I was a kid. No place to ride 'em around here, though!
