Vintage Grand Prix at Mid-Ohio.

Just looked at the weather ... 60% chance of thundershowers.

Better bring a rain jacket!

Going to be at the car display for MG2008!

Awards dinner this evening...with more parking lot discussions to follow.

Home tomorrow.

getting caught up on the yardwork I've let go, haven't had a real weekend off since April

getting ready for vacation - and hopefully doing a little more wrenching.

Not much. Hot, sticky, ugly, cloudy by noon, thundering by 2, warnings start shortly after. Now it's pouring, heavy storms, crossing fingers hoping the power doesn't go out.

Typical Florida summer afternoon full of yuck.

I know ya'll will find this hard to believe, but I'm working on a "new look" for the forum. I have the new entrance pretty much done (not online yet) but making a new default style for the forum itself is proving to be time-consuming (not difficult, just time-consuming).

Know what you mean Scoot! Started out as a nice morning...getting into the afternoon thunder-boomers and rain routine now though!

Way to go Boss!!! Always "improving the breed"!!

Yup. There's a lot of sunshine in the sunshine state - as long as you're above the clouds.

Hoed and weeded entire garden. Mostly galinsoga problems. :jester:

Talked with gazillions of visitors. Met a great visitor from southern Germany; after some "garden talk" she taught me a poem by 13th century minnesinger Walther von der Vogelweide. Of course, I had to counter with a 7th century hymn attributed to Caedmon.

Now that I've turned 60, I'm more convinced than ever that to be bored and self-centered is a miserable pit. Get outta the pit!

Yardwork, folowed by more yardwork, and, finally - yardwork!

Hauled two half yard loads of topsoil (all my little trailer will hold)behind the ol' Jeeper, sans top, so at least I got some convertable action. and shoveled it into my parents garden box, then I swapped motors on my old lawnmower to get it running, then mowed, weedwacked, found a painted turtle. wife, Dot and I took the turtle to a nearby pond to let it go. now I'm gonna go for a bicycle ride in the cool of the evening. Like I haven sweated enough today. Upper 80s and flat out sticky. whew!

Sitting up in the tower above A concourse at KATL, annoying one pilot at a time.

Went for a ride in the country in the MGB with my daughter to get gas and mail some letters, worked on the DPO exhaust middle hanger problem on the MGB, cleaned the left rear wire wheel while I had it off.
