What's the Las Vegas guy Jimmy the Greek
giving as odds Crypty will completed and make
a beach run for lunch tomorrow?

Things to do:
1. change out broken speedo cable
2. install tranny cover
3. install both door stops devices
4. refinish floor to dash plynth?
5. cut carpet underlayment
6. install carpet
7. install new seat rails
8. Get Crypty cranked and running.

Who's a gambler? What odds ya give me for success?

Odds of success - 100%

Why?

Wendy wants her side of the garage back on Sunday and she'll get it!

It all depends on how late you start today, how late you work on it today, and how late you expect to make the beach run tomorrow. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Having said that, get off the internet and start working. I want to see pics of the beach run tomorrow night. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thirsty.gif

You might not get it all done, but I'll bet you make the beach run anyway!

Throw the seats in and GO!!! hahahaha
Ok mebbe ya wanna at least put the tranny tunnel in, and that brace from the floor to the dash, otherwise you get some nasty cowel shake .

Another question: What are the chances Jimmy could make those odds? My guess is Crypty will make it to the beach before he does. He's in about the same state as your car was a few months ago. I know, Puerto Rico isn't a state.
I mentioned it before, but to be safe, to cut the underlayment just trace the outline of the carpet piece onto the underlayment and cut it 3/4" to 1" inside that line. It allows the carpet to lay down at the edges.
I'm sure your car will make the run one way or another.

Dale, Dale! I'm looking for my air ticket, so as to come down and do that beach run again. Actually, I know you'll do it, so have one for me and Annie. In fact, I'll send down enough cash for you and Wendy to each have one, hows that?

Hey David!!

Wendy and I send Annie our best.
Man, it's hard to believe only 4 short
weeks ago, you were down here drinking cold
ones, and finally got the Crypt Car put back
together and operational; with the help of a
few snow wizzards.

Wendy's really up for a beach run. Looks possible.

Got the speedo cable changed out, wired the backup
lights, installed the tunnels and door keepers and
just laid down the first strip of carpet:following
Pauls guidelines.

Takin' a iced tea break right now.

That's one longggggg iced tea break. Stop leaving me phone messages about how warm it is in paradise and get that car on the road to the beach.

Brilliant tune!

Who is this guy?

The Spinal Tappets are a group of talented members of the Illinois Sport Owners Association, the local Triumph club.
They formed to perform for the 2005 VTR and promptly disbanded after their one and only live performance. There are rumors however that there may be a reunion show at the Chicago British Car Union show on September 9.
