Who will be Mr. 100,000?

We are moving steadily towards 100,000 posts to this fine Triumph forum, which in itself is a tribute to the foresight of the founder as well as the many participating members who add their thoughts here day and night.

I believe that reaching that number shows the need for a forum like this and just how important it is to all who are here to seek or give advice and good counsel.

I'm grateful, as I'm sure many of you are for the friends that I have made, the knowledge that I have gained and mostly for the generosity of Basil, who provides this great medium for all of us to enjoy daily.

Thank you Basil. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thankyousign.gif

I hate to be picky, but what the heck, why not! Paul, where did you find that number? I see 376,533 forum posts but you are indicating reaching 100,000 for the TR forum itself. Is there a way that we can access that info?

Thanks, Tinkerman

WEll after 2 minutes of rummaging around I found the info. It do pay to do due dilligence occasionally. Thanks for the update Paul.

Tinkerman the curious.

I suggest 1 million dollars, or a free calender. The million can be paid out over 1 million years at 1 dollar per year.

A raffle of sorts. Could be fun. Got my post material
in mind and my finger on the submit key.

Roofy,

Will we get the calendar pages one month at a time also?? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/lol.gif

We're getting closer, even faster than I thought would happen....

Could have just said the forum list page instead of making me look stupid. It will probably turn over some morning while us correct coasters are sleeping.

I'll second the THANK YOU Basil, and to all who post here. This is one of my favorite places to waste time, read or figure out what I've done wrong. I have found the ability to search for answers to be invaluable. I don't have the Bently manual for either of my TRs (though I have several other books) and with this forum, I get all the answers I seek (in plain left-hand-drive English).

My TR6 has never to been to a shop since I've owned it, and my TR3 is so close to having the body lifted off I can barely stand to walk away from it.

Sorry, Don. Didn't mean to offend you. That wasn't my intent.

Here is a useless post to get us 1 closer.

To those interested I apologized to Paul and said it was a bad effort as a jibe at me.

Dang!!! I wuz all kinds of excited!

I thought this thread was going to be about who would
be the first poor SOB member to have to shell out $100,000.
for parts and labor to fix DPO's messes to obtain an operational TR.

I thought I was in the running for sure!!!

100,000 thread post??

I am surely disappointed.
