Who used 1/2" wheel lugs on their TR3 hubs?

Seems to me there was a previous thread where someone had done this and made reference to lugs from a 70's GM car.....anyone have this info? Karl

Re: Who used 1/2" wheel lugs on their TR3 hubs?

Maybe me. But 70's GM cars use 7/16" lugs just like the TRs but a tad longer. Fords use 1/2" though.

For the front, I used Dorman 610-114 measures 7/16"-20x1 21/32". But this also required that I drill out the hole to 9/16.

On the rear, the TR studs screw in and are peened over. So to change them required that the hubs were off.

Do a search on Dorman. I saw 1/2" references there.
