  I love it!!!! It really is amazing how much you can carry in a Bugeye!! My favorite is this picture reprinted from an old R&T article called "The Return of the Bugeye"
I lashed a new-in-the-box 26" color TV to the boot-lid of the Elan (same size as a Bugeye) to get it home, over some strong objections from the salesfolk... Made it home just fine.
Once hauled a 12' christmas tree and THREE folks home in an MGB... but they're much bigger than a Sprite.
The B also hauled a five drawer file cabinet home lyin' across the luggage rack.
I just moved with a good deal of stuff in the Spridget
a box of books in the foot well garment bag in the boot sleeping bag air mattirs folded ironed shirts and a back pack. plenty of space
While I'm thinking about your stripes. Can I get the width of your stripes, 6"? and spacing dimension between them. Trying to plan for Bugsy's final paint job. BRG and Bright Yellow Stripes for visibility.

the other day ...strapped it to the luggage rack!
