I think anyone can say you can't buy a new Jag or TD....

Lookalike fronts & rears grafted onto Japanese (or something completely alien) middles. As they say, themselves:

“Equipment made with peculiar tastes is one of the charming points of this model.”

With a 1.5 engine and only 2.2 million yen ($18.5k)

I was likeing them when all I could see is the front. But then ... gyaaah!
I agree, a little too peculiar for me
Kinda neat idea though.
 
The only other "grafting" that I remember was for VW Beetles. They looked reasonable too- one version had the front & rear style of a 1940 Ford Coupe and another a 30's era Rolls style. It worked- probably because the Beetle design itself was contemporary with those cars. This is abominable- the square and boxy mid-section is completely wrong for the svelte, rounded front and rear styling.

If they wanted to build a replica, why not a knock-off of the lovely Toyota 2000GT from the mid-1960s?
