Who needs an alarm clock

Boy ain't that the truth. 3:30-4 every morning.

Usually Mina still has food in the bowl in the morning. She just wants to go out and hunt. She brought a mouse into the living room Thursday night, that was fun.

Chihuahuas serve much the same purpose

One of ours would sit beside my face and at almost precisely 7AM would pat my nose with a fore-paw until I got up and fed her. Never claws, just patted me. This Last Cat will just sleep ON me until I decide when to rise. She has never tried to awaken me.

Simon's Cat cartoons have amused us for years.

My uncle had a cat named Mina, Mina Mi'new was her full name. He loved that cat...that is until she urinated on his rifle under his bed (was in a soft case).

My bassett was getting me up at 7a.m to feed him lately but he's slacked off on promptness. It was 6:22 this morning and 8:23 yesterday.

I had one that did that but it was on the cheek. Funny how they do that.

Had to re-read that - I was still back at baptizing the gun case - and on your cheek? and funny! but then re-read and all is well.

I have a kitten, Chloe, a cat, Captain Jack, and my dog, Danny. All 3 of them will end up in the bed at some point in the night, the cats almost beat me to bed while Danny waits until I'm asleep to crawl in. A usual morning finds the kitten awake by 6 and getting restless. Chloe romps around until she wakes up Jack who will smack her around for disturbing him and they will get quiet for an hour or so. Then Chloe will jump off the bed and start terrorizing items in the room. Once that wakes Danny up he will get off the bed, pick her up and place her back on the bed. This usually leads to the 3 of them really getting loud and chasing each other... Until I get up and throw the dog outside and get the cats fed...

We have a big black cat named Merlin who sleeps all day long; then is up all night long hunting mice, or just running back and forth through the house. Then we have a small black Dachshund mix (that's code for mutt) named Loki who like to eat at about 2 in the morning and will pick up little pieces of food and carry them into my bedroom and eat them on his bed. Luckily he can't jump up into my bed or he would sleep there every night, but he can leap into my bed if there is thunder (I guess he just thinks he can't normally get into my bed). Then he always is sure to wake me up between 5 and 6 to go out.

Sure can identify with cat/alarm clock. We have two alarm clocks - if one doesn't work the other does. The only problem is they have no concept of a time change.
