Who makes these wheels?

I was looking at the brake kits offered by Move It brakes when I came across these wheels on a TR6. They look very familiar to me and I think they look great on a TR6, but I cannot make out the brand.

BTW, I know that the front rotor for a TR4 or 4-A & 6 are the same, but is the bolt pattern the same for the calipers? I was wondering if this brake kit would fit on the 4.

So...where's Waldo?

Very early TR4 used the same brakes as later TR3A, so won't fit. But it might fit the later TR4/4A, if you buy the funky mounting bolts for late TR6 (metric shanks, SAE threads) and build a suitable adapter pipe. (Late TR6 also had metric threads for the brake line fitting to the caliper.)

ET Mag made a similar style "star" wheel years ago.

My suspension is all TR4-A, as is all of the drivetrain. I think the only thing that is not "A" on my car is the serial number and the tub. When I sent photos of my old (rotten) frame to Tony at Ratco, he said that it was a very, very late TR-4 frame and was quite rare and that all the suspension and steering rack mountings are "A".

I was looking at the suspension differences between the early 4, the "A" and the 6, and it looks as if the "A" and the 6 are identical, at least on paper.

I'm going to get a price on the Move It big brake kit to compare it to the Brembo kit offered by PRI and see what is what. I will definitely need more cowbell...I mean brakes with this build.

I have wondered for a long time who makes those wheels and agree they look good. Let us know it you can find out. I also liked the placement of the radio antenna on the rear deck.

Just blow up the photo and see what it says.

I did blow up the photo, but the resolution is so low, it does no good. I've tried everything in photoshop to bring it into view, but no luck so far. Maybe I could send it to the FBI crime lab for analysis. Yea, I'm sure they'd be real thrilled with that.

PeterK, I think you nailed it. I thought it looked like a Compo wheel, but I missed the one you found. The logo looks the same on both, in a blurry sort of way, but I'm sure it's a Compomotive wheel now.

The one in the Mov it ad is most likely an earlier discontinued wheel.

My frame should arrive this week, so I have to make a decision soon on wheels and so far, the newer version of this wheel looks like the winner!

That does look like the writing in a fuzzy kind of way.
Looks very nice on that car.

Ferrari has a Similar wheel but I beleive that all of Ferrari's wheels are/were made by Speedline, and not four bolt patterns.

If that TR6 is in an ad for the brake kit, ask the company selling the brake kit about the car in their ad. If it doesn't belong to someone that works there, they still might be able to put you in touch with how they accessed the car for the ad photo.

I think that I'd be happy with a set of the new style TS, as shown above. I actually like tbe new wheels better than the ones on the TR6 in the photo. I really like the clean look they have because of cap over the lug nuts.

I was looking online though and couldn't find any retailers of these wheels in the States. No prices either.
