WHO is this guy?!?!

No Springsteen?

mark

Firesign Theatre- been a couple years since I fired up that album.
Hey Doc -that 80's station in Tampa The Point 101.5 is what I listen to when I get into our company trucks. The radios pick up Tampa quite well. How many years are they going to continue to call themselves The "New"Point.
Rick

Speaking of "The Point", anyone 'member Nillson's album by the same name? ("Me and my Arrow, straighter than narrow... Doo-doo-doo-do-do-do-do-do-doo")

Highly opinionated, the only music as good as 50's, 60's and 70's rock; is the Blues from which it evolved. LOL.

Yeah, I should put "Pink Cadillac", "Atlantic City" and "Sandy" on my driving CD.
I do like him, musically and otherwise.

I actually met Bruce *before* he was famous (my college roommate was in his band....I have a picture I took of those guys when they were all like 18-19 years old).

I was in Bruce-ville (Freehold, NJ) two days ago....I spent part of my childhood growing up near Freehold.
(Who am I kidding?....I'm *still* in my childhood)

By the way, has anyone heard the recent stuff my Clapton and J.J. Cale. Great stuff!

It's ~HERE~ (For now....may get pulled off YouTube soon).

sounds like you been listining to WBAB too much

Try not to listen to BAB or Krock or Q104.3 too much. I've heard all those before. As a musician, I like variety.

Which album? (they have at least three that I know of):
1. Waiting for the electrician, or someone like him
2. Don't crush that dwarf, hand me the pliers
3. We're all bozos on this bus
All of them were GREAT!!

I can't listen to WDVE anymore. Usually, when I turn it on, within three songs I'm hearing Hendrix. Which normally wouldn't be bad, but after listening to the same playlist for 30+ years, I just can't take it anymore.
Doc, I think Flo and Eddie would fit nicely in your list.
I would have to add Little Feat, CCR, Donnie Iris(Jaggerz), and several Southern Rock bands.
Hmmm, this is about right. I'm only 10 months late on this thread.
I saw Winwood live at the Syria Mosque. Another name from the past.

Why is it that, every once in a while,
you'll hear REALLY good older music -
- one after the other?
Doesn't happen often enough,but when
it does..... Cool!
Off beat - check out an Aussie singer-
Peter Denahy - "Sort of Dunno Nothin'",
"Ringing of the Steel",& "the Bloke Who -
- Serves the Beer".I think it's on YouTube.

heh. Ya bored, Doug?

The Jaggerz were regulars in Geneva-on-the-Lake clubs.

Herself is a grad of the Art Institute, BTW. We left Sewickley in 1980.

Guys in their mid 50's should keep their shirts buttoned and wear looser fitting pants. Reminiscent of a pimple that's ready to pop.

"Weasles Rip My Flesh" was another good one. And of course, "You Can Tune a Piano, But You Can't Tuna Fish". I have "Don't Crush That Dwarf...", haven't heard it in years.
Good stuff!

Bored? I live in Zelienople! How could I ever be bored?

 Goodgawd... Zelie...

Okay, I'll 'fess up: I went to Koppel Element'ry school inna 50's.

There's a couple other BCFers over in th' New Castle area, too.

"Zelienople, is that in Greece"? "No, it's ten miles from Mars".

Keep heading south and not too far from Moon either!!!

(still have folks up in Polk and Franklin!)

My cousin and her husband live outside of Franklin. He recently retired from the Polk facility.

Doc, Why did you leave Koppel? Were you Bored?
Not much left in that town, except of course BeaveRun.

At least you got a break. I went to Connoquenessing Valley Elementary in Zelienople, Pennsylvania.

Today, a teacher would be sued for abuse making the kids learn to spell it all out.
