Sorry - I just had to...

Even though it was raining like crazy, and I-95 in CT was a joy to behold. The beast lives. Runs a bit rough, but it lives.

Down from Milford back to Westchester - 95 to 287 to the Sprain.

Today is not a good day to ask this question...6 to 12 inches of snow in the Chicago area!

Raining to the point where low areas are just starting to flood...been riding around the the truck all day.

The only thing snow is good for is SKIING!

Although this weekend is gunna be sunny dry (just kinda cold), so maby I can get in a run or two before the salt and sand hit the roads. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gif

Alan, has this helped to restore your love for the 6?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Not really.
It wasn't running right, so I was concerned that it might not make it back. That and the weather made it a crappy drive to be honest. I'm glad its back in the garage though...

I took my bumpers for a ride today to the platers, but the car stayed in the garage.

I can't believe it. Lovely dry, salt-free roads here in Scotland. Never heard of here before at this time of year. Why did I decide to take the radiator out last weekend?!!

That's right, rub it in ... Chance is nowhere near ready to drive /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

On the other hand, the wife and I took a topdown drive in the Miata Thanksgiving Day - mid 70s and sunny - perfect way to settle that turkey and dressing! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

... not to mention I drive it everyday, rain, shine or snow /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

Tried- but rained cats and dogs all day long.

Don't it figure though?
As soon as the many boxes of TR6 inventory from
TRF arrive, the Crypt Car is going back in the
crypt for another few months, But the beast is able
to run maybe ten mile R/Ts without breaking down.

But I did sit in the Crypt Car and pondered all
the work ahead of me.

Alana,

Where was it at Bob's Foriegn Auto in Milford? Too bad the weather was not in your favor and the car wasn't up to snuff. I'd say give it a chance to redeem itself now's not the best time to part with it anyway. I'll bet if you keep peeking at it through the winter it might make you smile again. Tomorrow, Sunday, or better yet both days might be our last best days if the snow flies Monday like their saying. Probably going to need a partial top up though for a morning run.

I can tell the Crypt Car has been running. The sky here in Wisconsin is brighter, I figure it is from Dale's smile! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Good for you Dale!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I had a go at it this afternoon. 70 this morning in Greenwood, SC....great and about 65 this afternoon until around 5...ish.........then it started getting cold. Should be cool and dry all weekend......will be on the road.

It's supposed to be sunny and almost 50 here tomorrow. It may get a run if there's no rain.

TR3 is put up for the next 5 1/2 months but I drove it everyday for 3 weeks when home without an issue, just ran great. Cold and snow in Kabul today and no flying, socked in.
