Took a heck of a bump in the rear and overpriced.
 
I agree Jack but someone could probably talk the price down and I've seen worse rescued! It just looks so blinking sad so maybe someone will take it on.
 
I for one would most certainly not say no to the Mercedes in the back!

You know funny part is top is worth about $1000, the bonnett is worth about $2000, doors $100 each, etc., etc.

I do have an extra engine and tranny, etc.

Your bonnet price is off by a factor of 8-10 in my opinion. The asking price for all is a bit high but not by much.
 
Gee Ray. Let me know when you find a bonnet for under $200 that is not rusted out or bent. I do need one and all I see are so darn expensive.
 
The problem I see with this car is that so much of it is missing, and the body and associated parts are in poor condition. It would be a long way to go and expensive to get it back on the road. Three years ago when I started my project, I was able to nab a painted tub for $4000. I thought most of the parts were there, but it turned out most had to be replaced. If cars can be "underwater" mine is it. Having a great time with it though....it is just money.
