Who are you cheering for in the World Cup?

Soccer is the up and coming game in the US and it always will be :cryin:

What's a world cup?

But, as I'm a Cubs fan......

....what's a world series?!

BTW....."Wait 'til next year!"

Steve- I think we are fighting a losing battle here regarding soccer and the US.

Ah.... The Beautiful Game... wasted here :cryin:

steve, does this "cup" got anything to do with a guy named "stanley" ?

"Stanley" used some of his tools to make the cup.

We finally win our group for the first time since 1930. It's Landon Donovan to the rescue, AGAIN, with a goal at the end of the match! And, while carrying the weight of the whole nation on his shoulders! :yesnod:

On to the next round, boys!!!! :driving:

Landon Donovan has been playing since 1930.....why wasn't I informed :jester:

Wow, wow, WOW! What a game! The US was hit with ANOTHER unjustifiably withdrawn goal, and we bounce back to win it AND the Group. Amazing. Take *that* FIFA! One of the greatest moments of the World Cup so far. I must say, after last week's game and that withdrawn goal again today, I was pretty down. But WOW!

Now it's time to change into my Ghana jersey for the Group D games this afternoon. Go Black Stars!
