We've got world cup fever in my house. I'm rooting for the USA (of course) and Ghana (I spent a lot of time working in Ghana years ago). My fiancee is cheering for Italy (she's 1/2 Italian) and our oldest son is also cheering for the Italians. Our youngest is cheering for the USA and Greece.

Although I'm outraged by the bad call on the USA's third goal against Slovenia, it's been an amazing Cup so far!

I'm cheering for the US, of course. But, I also like underdogs, especially the Latin American and S. American teams.

After the U.S. I'm rooting for Mexico who looked mighty good in the France match. They are very quick and play well as a team.

Brazil, as usual, looks excellent. It was good to see Drogba score against Brazil.

I love the Cup, can't get enough. There's a TV in my office so I see a bit of it (with the sound turned off).

"The beautiful game". :yesnod:

And such a simple game... all of the ball just has to cross the goal line between the uprights and under the crossbar... simple

and whoever is beating North Korea...

They got completely slaughtered this morning! I missed the match, but the score speaks for itself. Wow.

The first half was tighter, I watched it before work and then it was all downhill.

I rooting for the US, of course. And, anybody plying against a team that needs to lose for us to move on.

This just in...

If I were that ref, I'd think about a change of identity.

.....don't I know :smirk:

England, of course! Thereafter, the Dutch, I think. I had fancied Spain to win the trophy this time around, but on their current form I don't thanik that will happen.

Brazil are always a powerhouse, Argentina have a wonderful squad (but a wacko for a coach) Portugal have found their form and the Dutch, well, what a wonderful set of players they have!

what's the world cup?
