AARRRHHHHGGGFFFF,
that felt sorta good.
10am
my old washing machine has been leaking away for a bit, put
off replacing it till today. I go up to the appliance store because i dont want to wait for one, arrange with a bud with a truck for a ride, all goes off as planned. Read the instruction book and install the washer. Installation consists of removing some drum locks and travel hardware, No biggie. I only run cold water to my washer, and plug off the hot side. With a big smile of glee and A Large pile of laundry to do i plug in the unit and get ready to run it once empty (per instructions) All the little liteys lit up and things look good..
1130am
............NOTHING HAPPENS.... i fiddle about with it for a while, run the trouble shooting list....still Nothing!! i try the customer service line- no dice -closed till monday. I call the gent i bought it from,,,,,no joy....i mention that i only have it plumbed for cold water...guess what..that has to be the problem he says. Ok i will plumb in the hot. I dont have any copper tee's.
3pm
run to the hardware store and buy a bag of tee's..(30 minute round trip) 15 minutes to plumb it in. the ...(insert colorful phrases) still doesnt work.
415pm
call neighbor over we both fuss with it ...nothing..gotta be something stupid we say. carry the old washer back in. and start laundry.
day wasted
does any one out there have any idea of why possible a front loader might not want to cycle??
the door is closed, the water is on.
