Yep, as inconvenient as it is in the short run, you sure can't take any chances with that skin cancer.
 
Interesting to find this thread, just as I got home from the dermatologist and got more of those keratoses frozen off. I've done the Carac too, and that wasn't a lot of fun, but it really helped. Before, I had loads of those pesky things and now it's just one or two pop out each year. Best thing is that when you get rid of them, the cancer risk from them is completely eliminated.
 
What do those 'keratoses' look like?

I'm not taking any of me during this, but for the curious:

Here is a website that describes the process. I look about like this guy on "Day 18", although it's not just on my forehead, but also on my cheeks, along the temples, and around my mouth. I shaved the beard before starting, as I wanted to be sure I got everywhere covered. Haven't shaved since then - would probably sting a bit!
