hello all:
I'm looking to replace the 14" wheels on my MGB, with 15X6 alloys.
The choices seem to be, Rota, Minilite, VTO, or Silverstone II.
The price ranges from $600 to $1000 for four.
I hate to buy on price alone, in fact I like the most expensive ones (go figure).
Anybody know anything about the quality, weight, ect.of these rims. Opinions, as always, are welcome!
Thanks, Emmett

Last spring I delivered a TR6 Interior Panel Kit to a guy named Barry Knickerbocker who told me to send the PayPal invoice to VTO.com email address. When I asked him his connection to VTO, he told me he owned the company! I had been lusting after some 4 spoke LeMans VTO wheels for some time and took this as a sign to get them. You can see them here and they weigh about 3 lbs less per wheel than my mini-lite knockoffs from Moss.

MGBs always look great with a minilite style. VTO are nice and are for more of a stock replacement. I just bought 15x7s and 15x8s ROTA RBs for my TR8 and at my door step across country shipping was $520.00. Besides some casting porosity which was not on every rim that's all I noticed after stripping all the paint and repainting. Unless your going to rally your B you got a ton of choices.

Check out Hap Waldrop at Acme Speed Shop. They are a vendor here. He posts over on the MGB page. He has a couple of wheels.
